This was the exact part I needed.
I needed to replace the display cover because the silver was turning black. This was exactly the part I needed. I tried installing it myself by searching for Youtube videos or instructions in the owners manual, however I could not install it myself. I hired an appliance repair company and they installed it successfully but I would not recommend you try to do this yourself because it was not easy and there is a good chance of accidentally breaking the whole ice maker display while trying to dislodge it from the door. It takes someone with experience to install this.

easy to install but use plenty of padding around edge to avoid damage to door trim when prying out the ice water dispenser.
