Worst Experience with sears
August 27, 2020

Worst experience I ever had with Sears. They charged me 3 times what the price list said, sent it to the wrong address. Bought it for $1.48 locally. I had ordered 3, they sent 2 and charged me over $20 and now want to charge me to send them back. Unbelieveable. I needed additional parts to complete the job, needless to say I didnt go back to sears. Was sad to see sears go out of business but now I see why. Even now I cant ssubmit this because thier program wont send!!!!!!

Too soft. Broke again in 30 seconds

The flywheel is on the shaft tight, especially after shearing the key. Heat the flywheel with a small propane or MAPP gas torch, to loosen it up, and then tap with a hammer lightly from the underside, while turning the flywheel so you tap evenly all around. The new key was too soft and sheared within 30 seconds of running, didn't even hit anything with the blade. The nut was tight enough. Making my own steel key now, I don't care if it doesn't protect from internal damage like the softer keys do. I can buy another used mower cheaper than the parts and labor are costing me to fix this one. Btw shipping for this tiny, light $4 Part was almost $10. Surely there is a cheaper way to mail these...

The part is not easy to install, because a wheel puller is needed to remove the flywheel. The delivery took 12 days. The items (2) were smaller than a dime. Should have been mailed!
