What A Mess But it Looks Like It Will End OK
Information online gave wrong control board # for LG DLE4970W dryer Order #F129660. Called service number and talked with a women named "Mike" (I am not kidding). She arranged for a return authorization of the wrong part and generated Order #C109120 for the correct part. She assured me several times that I would not be charged for the return shipment of the wrong part or the shipment of the correct part. I received an email credit for Order F129660 with the shipping cost of $12.99 deducted from the credit. I also received by email the new C109120 that included a charge of $12.99. To add to the problem, Visa rejected the new charge so I had to go to my debit card to complete the order. All of this was going on while your Chat system was shut down. I got on the Chat with "Wriston" today and in a matter of several minutes he issued $12.99 credit to my credit card for order F129660 and $12.99 to my debit card for Order C109120. Wriston assured me that he would forward information about the wrong board number to the appropriate people to correct. One other issue I noted is that the prices listed on your website do not correspond to what is actually charged. This has been a very frustrating experience and I was pretty sure I would never have anything else to do with Sears Parts Direct. Wriston's quick resolution of my issues has changed my opinion on that.

Not the right part
Even though I searched the specific dryer model number, and this was listed as the control board for that dryer, it is not the same part. It has all of the connections I "need" to wire up, plus two others. Whatever the situation, it does not work when installed, it powers up the dryer, but won;t allow you to progress to choosing dryer settings. I will need to return this part.

Getting the wrong part
The repair is very easy a few screws and couple wire pins to remove the board.
