Door seal WPW10509257 seals the gap between the opening to the dishwasher tub and the outer edge of the door.
After installing the door seal, shut the dishwasher door and leave the door closed for several hours to properly seat the new door seal.

Gasket cane qithin a few days and was easy to install. No instructions cane in the package, but the reviews on the website explained the process. Shipping costs were high ($10) for such a lightwight part.

It didn't work!!!
While the gasket was easy to install, it didn't work to seal the dishwasher door. In fact, it is leaking more now. Had to schedule a Sears Technician service call. Absolutely crazy.

Easy to install but manufacturer needs mark the side or front of gasket to show which side should be facing towards front of dishwasher, watched UTUBE for information.

Right product, easy to install, but not fixed!
First tried a lower-priced option, but was smaller, physically, and wouldn't work. Ordered the original style; took a while to get, but was the correct size & style; easy to install. Sadly, the problem still persists, so time to replace this 20-year-old (plus) machine!

It was easy to install and solved the leaking issue. Should be able to get more years out of our Kenmore portable dishwasher.
