  • LED printed circuit board. The LED printed circuit board contains the LED lights that indicate power or functions of the televisions audio or visual selections.
  • IR sensor and power board. The IR sensor and power board receives signals from the remote control and sends information to the main control board.
  • Focus pack. The television focus pack adjusts the contrast, brightness and colors of the television.

Troubleshooting your Prima television with VCR or DVD when it won't power up

  • Unplug the television and check the power cord connection on the back of the cabinet. Reconnect the power cord if it's disconnected. Replace the power cord if you see that it's damaged.
  • Next, check the electrical outlet for power. Reset the house breaker for the electrical outlet if the outlet is dead. Plug the television into a different outlet if possible.
  • Check the surge protector if you have the power cord plugged into that device. Reset the surge protector if it tripped. Replace the surge protector if it isn't allowing the television to power up.
  • If these troubleshooting tips don't help, then you may need to replace the power control board in the television.
