Common repair parts for LG televisions

• Power supply control board. The power supply control board manages current flow to electronic control boards, lights and other components in the television. You may need to replace the power supply control board if the television won't power up even though the outlet works.
• Television base assembly. The base assembly supports the screen when it's resting on an entertainment center or table. Replace the base assembly if it's damaged or broken.
• LCD module. The LCD module receives signals from the television’s electronic control boards to display images on the screen. You may need to replace the LCD module if it doesn't light up or display images are distorted.
• Remote control. The remote control sends signals to the receiver on an electronic control board in the television to help control television images, sound and functions. Replace the television remote if it’s lost or damaged.
• Speakers. Replace the speakers if sound is distorted or the speakers are damaged.

What to do when your television remote won't work

Replace the batteries in the remote. Check your remote settings to make sure it's synchronized to the device that you're attempting to control. Turn off the television and then turn it back on to reset the electronic control boards in the television; the remote will sometimes start working after resetting the control boards in your LG television.
