Checking continuity through wiring in your Everest & Jennings health & wellness equipment

  • Always unplug the power cord to completely disconnect electrical power from the equipment before testing wires for continuity in your health & wellness equipment.
  • To check continuity on a run of wiring, disconnect both ends of the wire.
  • Set your multimeter to check continuity with a tone.
  • Put one meter lead on one end of the wire and the other meter lead on the opposite end of the wire.
  • The meter signals a tone and shows near 0 ohms of resistance if the wire has continuity.

Cleaning your Everest & Jennings health & wellness equipment

  • If you're cleaning a product that uses electrical power, unplug the power cord to completely disconnect electrical power before cleaning the equipment.
  • Use a damp cloth moistened with plain water to wipe down all exterior surfaces of the product. To remove stubborn stains or residue, use a cloth moistened with a solution of mild detergent and water. Don't use harsh chemicals or solvents on exterior surfaces to avoid damaging plastic and painted surfaces. Wipe down areas cleaned with detergent using a cloth moistened with plain water.
  • Follow the guidelines in the owner's manual for using disinfectants to clean surfaces if necessary.
  • Allow the surfaces to dry completely before plugging in the power cord and using the equipment.
