Troubleshooting your WW Grinder chipper/shredder when the engine won't start

Make sure the fuel tank has fresh gasoline. Gas can go stale over time so drain the fuel tank and refill it with fresh gas if the gasoline is over 6 months old.

Check the spark plug for deposits or damage. Replace the spark plug if it's fouled or cracked.

Carbuetor problems are a leading cause of engines failing to start. Clean the carburetor using a caburetor rebuild kit or replace the carburetor if it's too dirty to clean.
