Safety tips to follow when using bump action on your Makita power stapler

When using the bump action feature, be careful to avoid unintentional double fires of the power stapler caused by accidentally allowing the contact trip to re-contact the work surface due to recoil.
To avoid double fires of the power stapler, don't engage the power stapler against the work surface with strong force. Allow the tool to recoil fully after each actuation.
Always keep the power stapler in control when using the bump actuating mode. Inaccurate placement of the tool can result in misdirected discharge of staples.
Be aware of material thickness when driving staples. Don't leave protruding staples in the work because protruding staples can cause injury.
