Broken Part
The part I received was broken when it arrived. I returned and reordered the part. I was refunded only the purchase price and not the additional $12.99 I paid in shipping for a broken part. I reordered the part on the same day I shipped back the broken one in hopes that I receive one that works this time, so I've essentially paid sales tax and shipping twice on the same thing.

Perfect Match for Kenmore 500 Washer
I was doubtful of my DIY capabilities, but it was easy to call and get the exact part. And, with the help of YouTube, find out exactly how to remove and replace this valve assembly. Really easy and this part is an exact match. Highly recommend the service on the phone to get the right part. They asked questions to make sure I was diagnosing the problem, too, although I accept that responsibility.

Water was leaking into the washer from the valve. Installing the part was easy. Getting into the washer was not haha! Very happy with purchase and delivery.

Valve was easy to install.
Valve was easy to install. It took me about an hour to take washer apart and put back together. It came with replacement wiring harness, so I did not need to use old wiring that might have been brittle or had loose connections.
