Difficult to install
Installation could have been quite simple if there had been some instruction about how the part can be installed in either of two orientations, but only one works correctly. After multiple failed attempts to get the tension plate to adjust properly, my dear wife suggested reversing the plate's orientation. With that change the part installed easily and the plate now controls the tension as it should.

An assembly diagram would be extremely helpful
I had taken apart the chain, chain bar, tension plate, and other parts to remove the old damaged pieces. Then it took a few days for the new parts to arrive. In the meantime, I had forgotten a bit about how everything fit together. I wish I had taken some pictures of the prior assembled pieces--or else that the replacement part had come with a more detailed diagram than is available in the online manual. But with a little bit of ingenuity on my part, I got the chainsaw working like new for about 1/3 the cost of a new chainsaw!
