Easy install but Whirlpool Should Correct Defect

Love the quite Kenmore Elite DW but 3rd Control Panel in 7 years (original + 2 replacements). Appears to fail from corrosion resulting from damp/warm air infiltration to control panel circuit board. Appears the moisture enters the control board area from the inner door through-hole vent to the door side. The control board, due to some manufacturing reason, is not entirely conformal coated (corrosion protection) . Only areas that have electronics installed. Corroded areas on PCB circuit board where no components installed. Newer version of the board has extra ground or shield in the cable harness suggesting other issues. Sears offers a discounted on the part. This Dishwasher and other Whirlpool made DW sold under different names appear to have this control board problem. This part should have been listed as defective. Poor owners that cannot self-replace / install would spend $300+ for part and service tech.
