Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve Assembly 60154-0004502-02

Kenmore refrigerator part nightmare.

This part was sent by parts department to replace one that is no longer made, refrigerator is 1 year old. Tried to check with tech department, no longer exists with sears, and warranty department doesn't want to help because refrigerator is a month past 1 year date. Part looks like it won't fit and online parts guide said it will not but was sent anyway. Fourth call to parts and a cs agent looked through my model, order, etc put me on hold to check with someone and said the part will not work, but they do have one that should work. Being sent and we will see. I asked what their repair techs use.
