Easy to install if you have two people.

This snap ring goes on the peg that goes into the lower hinge of the french refrigerator doors. The ring that was in there broke into two parts, and was creating drag when attempting to open/close the door. You can easily install without removing the door. One person should lift the door upwards. We found it best to grip the bottom of the door. It will move up about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. You can then remove any remaining snap ring. I had to hold the snap ring in the center and push it onto the peg. Now the door moves smoothly.

Wrong part!

I shopped for this part by model number of my refrigerator. This is the wrong part!! The outside diameter of this part is barely larger than the post which it must encircle; the inside diameter is impossibly small and won't fit around the post. Thanks for wasting my money Sears. I hope it goes a long way toward your bankruptcy.
