full price for old stock
I paid full price for a brand new battery and the battery I received is date coded 2016, that's a 4 year old battery, can I expect the same life expectancy as the battery it replaces. I don't think so? If you are shipping old inventory you should state that and discount the old items. I cycled the garage door opener on the battery alone, I didn't push it to failure but I can tell after the 2nd opening and closing of the garage door on this battery, I don't think it performs as well as the battery it replaced when that battery was new. I could easily cycle the door 10 times without noticing a degradation in performance.

delivered 10/2019 - manufactured 10/2016 - expected a battery that hadn't been on the shelf for 3 years ... but it does work (for now)

Easy to install
It helps to take note of how the original battery was installed so that the new one can be installed the same way. Installation only required a Phillips screwdriver and a ladder.
