Easy to install.

It was easy to install and took about 30 mins, (I didn't need to disconnect the power chord, just shut off the breaker, add time if you have to disconnect). The top comes with 10 mounting brackets already stuck to the new top as well as new rubber gaskets in the control holes. Don't forget that you are working with glass, the slightest pressure will break the glass. When removing the old glass top which had a small chip, I accidentally left one of the mounting screws connected and the glass broke clean in two after lifting one end with only a minimum pressure. Just don't force anything. Screws must line up or something is wrong, don't push on the glass to line up a screw because it could break.

Not easy to install when cooktop is cracked

Would not buy from them again. Was never able to install'cooktop arrived cracked every time. Did I mention the cooktop had to be reordered 7 times!!! Cracked every single time'Sears Parts Direct sucks!!
