Works great and easy to install
Old igniter had cracked and wasn't working. unplugged and unscrewed it. Put the new one in and the dryer is working great again.

Correct Part and easy to install
Since I had already partially disassembled the dryer during the troubleshooting process, the part replacement only took about a minute (it is one screw and an electrical connector plug, as you can see in the picture). This Whirlpool part was a suitable sub for my Maytag dryer, everything worked fine as soon as I swapped igniters. I highly recommend watching the Sears PartsDirect troubleshooting videos; even if you're an experienced appliance tech they'll help you find the bad part quickly!
