easy replacement--possible shimming required
The part is a perfect replacement. My problem was partially with a worn switch, but mainly with the fact that I needed to ship up the right side of the seat plate, so that it would compress enough with the seat springs to activate the switch. Shimming will solve the problem.

Lawn Tractor Seat Switch
My only problem was figuring out what the problem was, since the original switch worked intermittently. The replacement switch arrived sooner than the date promised. Replacing the switch is no more difficult than replacing a light bulb.
