Steering shaft
The steering shaft is slightly too small diameter-wise for the hole that's directly above the mower deck which causes a little bit of play or wiggle room. This causes the pinion to partly separate from the gear. If there's too much separation the pinion will round off and you'll be left with no steering or poor steering. I recommend a beveled spacer that goes between the shaft and hole to eliminate the wiggle room.

Dont understand this request
Sent wrong again, 2nd time. I gave picture of tractor part number & model number. This worries me about customer service is not trained or inept to look up correct parts to satisfy customer requirements.

Steering shaft
Great replacement part. Poor original design, Phillip head bolt instead of socket. Once I broke the bolt loose 30min job.

POOR DESIGN
At the bottom of the shaft their should be a bolt instead of a screw, I did not put a screw back in where the old one came out... way too hard to get old screw out, I had to bust it off,
