As usual the ordering of the parts is spot on.

The repair required some deeper understanding of the unit but not to be too intimidating for a patient and one willing to "go where no one has gone before." The rings and gasket went into an old Sears Generator so the disassembly was hindered by years of just being together. A hammer and careful hitting broke the old joints and the new items worked well.
