Had to do a bit of figuring out to replace the damaged parts, but overall, it was pretty easy. The right-hand side has a cable that needs to pass through the spacer. This requires removing the upper support screws to access and disconnect the cable. This may have technically not necessary, but it did make getting the cable harness through the hole in the upper part of the upright. You'll need to tie a string to the cable harness so you'll be able to pull it back through the upright after threading it through the spacer. The left-hand side has no cable and the spacer was easy to replace.
