right part for proform 535X treadmill

Product was backordered, but still arrived in a fairly timely manner. Was fairly easy to install. Directions came as two sets of directions and would have been better if combined as one set of directions. It did fix the treadmill.

Not as bad as I thought

I don't normally repair electronics but cost of new was not economical enough. I did go back to the instructions once as this board had eliminated a connection. Once I seen that and how to connect the 'bypass' or jump it worked. The treadmill fired right up, but then I found my motor was out of spec. Still worked but not within the instructions range..so the motor and belt are coming this week..so $350 or so later but still cheaper than new.

What I got was a circut board (I guess an upgrade) that was not the same as what I ordered of the picture below. After installing I was unable to do the setting properly. I got to a point that it should work on the settings that I made. I tried really hard to locate someone to give me help. To get a real human being seems impossible. I just hope it lasts a long time. I can not say yes or no to recommending it to a friend. I had hoped to get the part pictured below.

Not the easiest to install

The treadmill worked when we got the control board installed but we weren't able to calibrate it to slow it down so we are having to change it out for a different one. But the staff at Sears has been great and are sending us out a new part. Will keep you posted.
