Door seal 4172127 seals the gap between the opening to the dishwasher tub and the outer edge of the door.
After installing the door seal, shut the dishwasher door and leave the door closed for several hours to properly seat the new door seal.

The seal was easy enough to install, even without instructions, of which there were none provided. There was more information on the wetsite than included in the package, none. The new seal did not match the old one so once the glue dries we will see if it is worth anything.

Install was easy, access was not.
The seal was very easy to install, and literally took only a couple of minutes, but the tub spacers that came with the seal required the removal of the door. This is an easy task if you have access to the sides of the dishwasher, but if the install is in a tight enclosure you need to pull the dishwasher out about half way to get access to the springs which in most cases would require you to disconnect the drain and the water supply. The total install took me about 3 hours because of he tight location of my dishwasher.
