Very timely delivery
When our dishwasher control panel would no longer accept settings or start a cycle, I found a Sears replacement - expensive but available! It was delivered very expeditiously. Although there were no instructions, my DIY skill-set and tools made the change-out possible. Once securely installed, it started right up. During the process, I was concerned that a deeper problem might be in the "brain" to which the control panel was attached. I was relieved when that was not the case. :-)

Installation not too difficult
The prompt delivery and full functionality of the part were 5-star. I gave only 4 stars because I thought the panel would come with installation instructions. On my own I found a couple of youtube videos which were super-helpful in dealing with the trickiest part, which was preventing stress on the multi-wired harness while disconnecting the old control panel and switching the multi-prong connector onto the new one. My wife supplied the necessary extra pair of hands. BTW: online chat person on the website was very helpful ensuring that I got the right part # for my model of dishwasher.

Control panel for dish washer
The control panel is at the top of the dish washer door. The problem was initially determined by a Sears Repairman. After the problem was determined and not difficult to install (the control panel), I ordered the part from Sears Parts Direct and installed it in about 15 minutes. The downside is this was the 3rd control panel for this dish washer. The upside is after ordering the part it only took a couple day before it was delivered as most parts i've order through Sears Parts Direct.

Installation is straight forward but...
I've had this dishwasher 12 years now. This will be the third time I've replaced this panel. The current panel lasted less than 18 months. This one has to do better.

You SUCK
We have a failure to communicate Last week I called the Sears warranty line about replacing the 'head' unit on my Kenmnore Dish washer. Three times I called and spoke to someone each time and tried to set up an appointment to replace the part. All three times the response was that the Sears Scheduling data server was down, but that they would send me an email when it was back up DID NOT HAPPEN. Then I went to the on parts store and tried to order the part my self. But twice it kicked back my order by on the web site with some problem BAD SEARS < VERY BAD Then on July 5th a part was delivered, but it was for an OVEN. So I will return the part to you and you will credit my credit card for the complete cost with shipping
