Getting there is the hardest part

You will have to release the nuts on both sides of the rear wheel axle as well as the tensioner locking bolt and then back off the tension bolt that is located under the tensioner. Pull the wheel backwards gently - far enough to remove old/ install the new belt. With the tension device completely released the new belt was tight to get on. Best to put the belt around the resistance wheel (rear) and start the belt on the pedal wheel going on over the top making sure the belt is in the middle / front and back wheels- you won't want to have to move the belt over a groove or two once it's on. When you can't put the belt on any more by hand, then turn the wheel with the pedal post and let the belt climb on. I pushed firmly with my thumb in the longest flat section of the belt - in about .75" with firm pressure to adjust the belt tension.
