when I got to the installation of the lower chute part# [532 16 28-03] it was to small to attach to the deck ,I had to use duct tape to make it thru leaf season

The first thing I want to mention is there were no instructions. There were clear and precise pictures but I feel some words were needed. So the first thing to do is to mount the to the back of the mower. There were no supplied bolts. So I took a 5/16x18 tap and added threads. Then I went to the hardware store and purchased (4) 5/18x18 bolts about one inch long I used a blue Loctite so the bolts stay in with vibration. The correct bolt is a 5/16x18 self-tapping shoulder bolt. This bolt is used for any case you want to remove and install the bracket easily without having to undo a regular bolt.

Exact fit for my 18 year old Craftsman Tractor

The opening of the mower deck and lower chute of the bagger were exact fit. Good job Husqwarna bagger (H242SL) for Craftsman old DLT3000 tractor. The mounting of the bagger was just a drop in to the back plate of the tractor. Whole mounting the bagger to tractor took under an hour or less. Absolutely no complications.

If your mower has 4 pins on back this should work. Works for 42 and 46 mowers made By Husqvarna.
