The new replacement Door Vent Valve does not close all the way during the wash cycle, subsequently it still leaks onto the floor

Very disappointing I describe what was happening with my dishwasher. The parts direct recommend the vent. That was not the problem and now I am out 89$ and still have a broken dishwasher
