Warning! This is not a DIY install
The part was perfect for our LG top-load washer, which had a shattered glass lid. Apparently this a known problem for these washers(google it). We did nothing to break the glass. Came home one day and it was broken! Anyway, there are no YouTube videos on how to fix this particular model, but we thought we would try. DO NOT TRY to fix yourself. Hire a pro. Our appliance repairman, an obvious veteran at this, had never seen anything like it. He had to do a zoom call to figure it out and remove the entire top of the washer, electrical panel and all. It took 2 hours and $250. Plus the cost of this lid, we really hope this washer lasts us another 10 years.

Correct part, inaccurate delivery forecast
I received the correct part and was able to install it very easily. The washer is operational again. The difficult part was finding a service manual or video which accurately described how to remove the top portion of my washer to access the left hinge release. As far as part delivery, I paid for expedited delivery, but received the part 3 days after the forecasted delivery date. After missing the delivery date, the CSR did refund the expedite fee.
