Product not as pictured
I expected this part to match the piece in the picture which matches my original piece from the ice cream maker I purchased. It was my understanding that this was an OE manufacturer part. To my surprise after paying a hefts price (I should have just purchased a new ice cream maker it would have been more cost effective). I find the piece I received has a plastic shaft. I don't expect this to last at all.

Easy to Order
I love using my KitchenAid ice cream maker attachment. But, I made the mistake of putting in a sorbet mixture that was already getting set and the plastic part of the drive assembly broke. So, I'm grateful for how quick and easy it was to find and order this replacement part.

the Ice cream drive that came with the unit was cheep and plastic and broke. I looked and found this one with a metal shaft. works great. note: once you poor in the cream mixture dont stop the machine till the ice cream is ready.
