Oven door was loose/oven light was on.
My oven door did not have the spring tension to hold it shut completely, causing the oven light to stay on. This hinge kit worked perfectly. Back to normal.

Just what the doctor ordered!
My oven door wouldn't shut completely without pushing it a few times and still wouldn't completely shut. When the oven would be in use, my whole kitchen would heat up. So I did some research and found that replacing the hinge would probably be the fix. Though replacing the hinge was a bit of a beast as far as all the screws to open up the oven door...it was over all quite easy. It's just tidious work. I had myself and my dad working with me. I do believe having another person to help lift and hold in place and reattach is necessary. I wondered if the whole kit was necessary or if just replacing the hinge arm would be enough...but upon further research I did replace and use the whole kit. The old parts did not loom worn or in need of changing so I was skeptical. But as soon as I shut the door again after replacing all the parts, low and behold it was a brand new door! It shuts and completely seals now. I can't believe how much time is shaved off cooking and how hot the oven is when I open the door to take the food out! Thank you Sears for making this part available!

Easy installation, came with hinges and pins there were new bolts for the hinges but not for the pins would recommend that they include 4 more in the kit
