Not an exact drop in replacement

Replacing this dual heating element fixed my problem of "Controls working, but element not heating". The new element has a connector that LOOKS like the old one, but needs wired differently (take note of the terminal numbers). It did come with directions.

The thermistor cable does not match the picture

The cable is actually the short white one shown on many of the other sites. Instructions say to swap thermistor from existing unit if it doesn't match but mine was fried from contacting the large heating element. If your sensor is good, particularly if it has the long black cable, you can probably get away with one of the less expensive replacements that does not include it.
