This wall control (part number 53688) is for garage door openers.
Wall control 53688 controls the motion of the door, as well as lighting and programming. It attaches to the garage wall beside the entry into the house. Wires connect it to the logic board on the motor unit.
Unplug the garage door opener before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Very easy to install.
Took less than 5 minutes to install. Unplug garage opener from outlet, remove top of wall switch, take top screw out, slide switch up and off, remove wires from back, reverse steps to install new wall switch.
