Part as expected
I ordered the main controller board for the Whirlpool refrigerator at a good price. The part is at the front of the refrigerator, but underneath. Installation involved like undoing 4 screws and disconnecting the electronic connections; replacing with new board. Totally saved me on my used 2017 refrigerator. I hope it has a lot of life left in it.

Easy fix.
Unplugged fridge, waited for power to drain from inverter then removed screw that holds it to compressor and pressed clips at terminal to pull off and remove wires from inverter, removed the inverter from compressor and then installed new inverter in reverse of removal. Easy peasy.
