Haier front-load washer

Remove any clogs from the house drain for the washer. Remove any clogs or kinks from the washer drain hose. Unplug the washer and check the large-item filter in the drain pump for a clog. If the drain pump is defective, replace it.

Fully open both water supply valves behind the washer. In winter, check the fill lines for freezing. Check the drain system for a siphon problem. If the water inlet valve assembly is defective, replace it.

Unplug the washer and reconnect any loose wires on the drive motor. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wire harness connections are okay, replace the drive motor.

Unplug the washer. Replace the water inlet valve assembly if the washer continues to fill when unplugged.

Unplug the washer and reconnect any loose wire harness connections on the door lock assembly. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wire harness is okay, replace the door lock assembly.

Unplug the washer and reconnect any loose wire harness connections between the display board and the power board. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wire harness is okay, replace the display board. If the problem persists, replace the power board.

Redistribute the wash load and restart the washer.

Unplug the washer and replace the power cord if damaged. If the power cord is okay, have an electrician repair the power supply provided to the washer.

The washer adds water and gently tumbles the clothes to remove excessive suds. Use the right amount of high efficiency (HE) detergent to avoid excessive suds.
