Washing and oiling the air filter on your Manco go kart

  • Let the go kart engine cool before removing the air filter.
  • Remove the air filter box cover and pull the air filter element out.
  • Wash the air filter element with warm, soapy water.
  • Rinse the air filter element thoroughly with plain water.
  • Squeeze water out of the air filter element by pressing it between the palms of your hands. Don't wring the element or it will develop cracks.
  • Immerse the element in a pan filled with air filter oil. Squeeze the element between your palms to remove oil until the element remains damp with oil but not soaked.
  • Reinstall the filter element in the air filter box and reinstall the air filter cover.

Changing the engine oil in your Manco go kart

  • Park the go kart on level ground and allow the engine to cool. Wear work gloves to protect your hands while changing the oil.
  • Position an oil drain pan under the bottom left side of the engine to catch the oil as it drains from the engine.
  • Remove the engine oil drain bolt.
  • Drain the oil into the oil drain pan and dispose of the oil properly at an oil reclaim facility.
  • Reinstall the engine oil drain bolt and refill the engine with oil.
