Storing your Makita floor scrubber

• Turn the floor scrubber off and disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet. Wrap the power cord around the brackets on the floor scrubber handle to store the power cord.
• Empty the rinse solution tank and recovery tank. Rinse both tanks thoroughly with water. Allow both tanks to air dry before storing the floor scrubber.
• Press the upper handle release button to lower the handle for storage.
• Store the floor scrubber on a flat surface so nothing is pressing against the nozzle squeegee.

Cleaning the recovery tank filter on your Makita floor scrubber

• Unplug the floor scrubber to disconnect electrical power.
• Remove the recovery tank and lid from the floor scrubber.
• Remove the filter from the recovery tank lid.
• Brush dirt and debris off the filter. Rinse the filter thoroughly to remove lint and debris from the filter.
• Allow the filter to dry completely.
• Reinstall the filter in the recovery tank lid and reassemble the floor scrubber.
