• HEPA filter. The HEPA filter fits inside the air purifier and captures up to 99.97% of airborne contaminants as small as 0.3 microns. The HEPA filter can't be washed. It needs to be replaced according to the instructions in the owner's manual.
• Pre-filter. The pre-filter fits in front of the HEPA filter and traps odors and large particles from the air as it passes through the air purifier.
• Fan motor. The fan motor spins the fan blades to circulate the air through the air purifier filters.

Replacing filters in your Sperti air purifier

• Turn off the air purifier and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
• Carefully lay the air purifier down on a padded flat surface with the front grille facing up.
• Remove the front grille. Pull off the pre-filter and discard it. Pull out the HEPA filter and discard it.
• Remove packing from the new HEPA filter and pre-filter. Insert the new HEPA filter into the air purifier. Install the prefilter.
• Reinstall the front grille and set the air purifier upright. Restore electrical power to the air purifier and turn it on.
