Removal required a 3/8' socket to free the cable from the upper handle, a small screwdriver to release the plastic spring clip from the lower handle and a slight tap with a nut driver from the underside of the main body shell to free the last retainer. Installing the replacement was a simple reverse process. I had also ordered the auger drive cable for future replacement when it becomes necessary. Replacing the cable revealed a failing auger drive belt, so I subsequently ordered that. I recommend checking all belts and cables when an initial failure of any one of them occurs.

Good part
No issue with the part but the page should include a short video on how to install. Wasn't really clear how to do it and took me a long time to not only remove the broken cable but also to figure out how install the replacement. Seems odd that you have a video for the auger cable but not one for drive cable.
