Door spring and link for dis washer
It saved me $150 not including the parts by doing it my self which was amazing easier than I thought I check 8 different sites and sears have the best price oh by the way it took me more time to think I couldn't do this by self than the actual institution

Dishwasher door spring
Spring was installed by handyman and now dishwasher door opens and closes properly. So glad I could find a part to fix a dishwasher purchased in 2002.

Easy to install.
It was easy to install both springs in about 15 minutes. However, I have had to replace these springs twice over the 15 year life of the dishwasher. I am 84 years old and I removed the two screws that hold the base plate cover at the bottom. Then, while laying on the floor ,I removed the old springs and installed the new ones. Then, I replaced the base cover and screws. For future design, you may want to consider adding a plastic part to the bottom of the spring like the one used at the top of the spring. The sharp edge of the hole at the bottom spring causes the spring to fail in all the springs I have replaced.

Installed quick.
The left side door spring was easy to install. Upon inspecting I noticed that the spring was rubbing on the water hose, about half way gone. Result, a new hose on order.
