The handle was advertised, it seems that one screw hole may not have been tapped correctly because if took a lot of force to get the it worked eventually and looks like new.

Arrived on time
It did not come with screws so I started to use the ones from the old handle. It was such a tight fit it would have broken the plastic. So I got two smaller diameter screws and it worked just fine. Installed in just a few minutes with perfect fit.

Some trouble inserting screws
The handle is all hard plastic and the screws did not want to go all the way into the handle. The last handle was broken around the screws and I did not want to break the plastic putting the screws in, so it was very time consuming working the screws in gently without breaking the plastic. I actually used two shorter screws to fasten the handle.

Handle for Kenmore Over the Range Microwave
It was a cheap piece of plastic that we anticipate will break again. There were no directions for the installation. However, my husband is good at fixing anything and it is installed. I have been avoiding using the handle by opening the microwave from the botton of the door. We do not want to replace a microwave that is only 5 years old and works great other than the flimsy handle that comes with it.
