Hello, I believe that the previous dampers had faults that resulted in further issues. I have noticed that a part of the plastic shaft that turns was coming out of the slot. I used a piece of wire to hold it down and it has been working fine. When I received the new damper I have noticed that an extra piece of plastic was added to do the same thing as I did - hold the plastic shaft in place.
