Very Poorly Designed Refrigerator Door Handle
This is the fourth handle I have had for my refrigerator. The plastic piece that attaches the aluminum handle to the door always eventually cracks where it is screwed. The plastic piece needs to be reinforced, as is it is not strong enough to handle the repeated opening of the door.

Needed part
I needed this part. The handle on the refrigerator was poorly designed. I had three replaced during warranty. They keep breaking. There WAS NO ABUSE. ONLY MY WIFE AND MYSELF.

No packing has scratches
The part fits perfectly but it was thrown into a box with no protected packing. For almost $60.00, my item should be in perfect condition!

No screws included
I ordered this replacement handle and assumed it came with the screws but that is extra! Why wouldn't I need screws..isn't that part of the handle?

Poor design
Some complain about the price' At $70 it's a lot for a piece of aluminum. But I'm not like those other people. I'm going to complain about the design. Why would an engineer ever put a piece of brittle plastic exactly where the main stress point is on the handle? Why? Anyway, the replacement part fit and was easy to install. But I'm just waiting for the next five year old Hercules in my family to pull on the handle just at the Right angle to snap it again.

It was easy to install BUT this is a bad design with the plastic attachment. Both handles have cracked on me

Does not fit completely. There is a 1/4' gap at the top of the handle, between it and the fridge door.
