"Black Metal Oxide" Hex Head Narrow Thread
Used it to replace lost screw that holds down the front drive plastic cover on Husqvarna Lawn Mower. I was surprised to see it called a "screw," I would call it a Hex Head Narrow Thread Bolt, albeit a small size one. Does not have a point at the tip like a wood screw, it is the same diameter all the way to the end. It must be what is called a metal screw, made to join with metal that has some threads on it like the lawn mower metal housing for this application. It is black oxide which is very good, hard and rust resistant. Black Oxide is great stuff. Head size is 5/16" I have a nice nut driver that size which works perfect for small lawn mower "screws." For the air filter, this app, etc. etc.
