An almost perfect replacement
The new valve looks exactly like the old valve but when I attempted to insert the single mounting screw I discovered the screw hole in the plastic was about 1/16" short of the hole in the sheet metal back of the washer. I ended up using a utility knife to trim away some of the plastic to the left of the hose attachments to allow the entire valve to slide a tad to the left to allow the screw holes to line up. When that was done it was smooth sailing and back to doing the laundry.

Exactly what I needed
I was happy to find this part, and read the reviews to confirm this part is was I was needing for the water filling up the drum when my washer was not in use. It was an easy fix and the part was identical to the old one needing replacement. I was so happy to do this fix myself.

Fixed a leaky inlet valve - Easy Repair
Worked great and was easy enough to replace. Our washer had been slowly filling up with water when not in use. This resolved the issue. The only problem I had with it was the screw hole didn't line up with the screw hole on the metal back of the washer, but the metal was thin enough that I was just able to drill a new hole a few millimeters away from the old hole and then the screw secured the new water inlet valve. All in all I would imagine I saved nearly $500 on a service call by doing it myself.
