The Briggs & Stratton Engine Air Filter (part number 593260) helps protect the engine by filtering dust and debris from the air before it reaches the carburetor. This part replaces part numbers 798452 and BS-593260 and fits select Briggs & Stratton engine models.
If your engine starts running rough or loses power under load, a clogged air filter may be the cause. Replacing it can restore smooth performance and prevent dirt from entering the engine.

My sparkplug was not really dirty. but due to use a wrong fuel (with Etanol) the carburetor did not work. And I had to buy a new carburetor. And to do everything correctly. I bought the sparkplug plus the air filter. After I did the installation using etanol-free gas. The lawn mower started as a brand-new one.
