This clamshell (part number 410-00-017) is for boilers.
Clamshell 410-00-017 is the chamber that heats the water passing through the coils. When replacing rear section 410-00-017, also order silicone sealant 240006837, rope 433-00-955 and 2 push nipples 433-00-976.
Shut off the water supply, gas supply and electrical power to the boiler before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
