This replacement 4-gallon fuel tank for an AYP, Companion, Craftsman Poulan or Southern States lawn tractor model number 917257870 installs under the seat.

Making the repair requires removing the rear fenders from the tractor.

Replace the fuel line bushing in the tank at the same time as the fuel tank.
