Replacement Miter Saw Guard
November 27, 2018

Guard came in quickly. Part was exact fit. The only issue was that the cut out for the nut that connects the arm was slightly larger than the nut so was hard to get it to tighten. Possibly I could have got a nut from the hardware store that would fit tightly, but was able to make it work.

This is the same part number as my existing saw but the guard bolt does not fit (this guard is not threaded), hence the part does not work. Will need to provide own bolt/nut. Very difficult to mount in the first place, this problem only presents itself in the final step.

The new guard was not an exact fit . The new guard required a new nut to fasten the guard lever. The new screw was to short for the new guard and there was not explanation that a nut was required to fasten it to the new guard.
