Piece of cake. A no brainer.
Removed two bolts (one on each side) connecting upper handle to lower handle. Removed cotter pins holding lower handle to mower deck. Attached lower handle to mower deck, re-installed cotter pins, attached lower handle to upper handle (two bolts.) That's it. Tools required: pair of pliers to remove cotter pins. No tools required to separate upper/lower handle.

easy to install
the handle was easy to install.remove wing nuts in the middle of the upper and lower mower handles.pull the two clips on the lower handle at the mower base.remove the old lower handle and install the new by inserting one side of the handle on the mower base stud and sqeeze the handle to fit on the other base stud.i did have a problem with the wing nut re-installation due to holes in the new lower handle.the holes are higher on the new lower handle towards the bends which made it impossible to connect the the stiffener bolt wing nut assembly.to resolve I installed the stiffener bolt assembly inside the handle to avoid elongating the drill holes weakening the handle assy.not ideal but works.
