This part is pretty straight forward and easy to install. It is made of plastic so not overtightening screws is a must. Fit, finish and works excellent once installed. Restored alignment of hood on mower. I replaced a bumper on a mower that previous owner had hit something, tree or fence and hood was not closing and seemed flimsy without the support of this bumper. This new bumper tightened everything up and hood works great now. Price wasn't bad and shipping cost and time reasonable. It snaps to bottom of grille and has a solid feel when it does. If the tabs on hood that bumper and grille connect to are bent, they will have to be bent back in place for it to work.
